À propos de l’artiste

Sans avoir terminé le lycée, David LaChapelle a reçu sa première offre d’emploi professionnel de la part d’Andy Warhol pour le magazine Interview. Ses photographies ont été exposées dans de nombreuses galeries et musées, notamment la galerie Tony Shafrazi et Deitch Projects à New York, ainsi qu’au Barbican Museum à Londres. Ses images non conventionnelles de célébrités et de la culture pop contemporaine ont orné les couvertures et les pages intérieures de magazines tels que Vogue Italia, Vogue France, Vanity Fair, i-D et Rolling Stone. Ces dernières années, LaChapelle a étendu son travail aux clips musicaux, aux performances théâtrales en direct et à la réalisation de documentaires.
