THE NOVEL ABOUT THE FORGOTTEN HEROINE OF THE CLASSICAL WORLD: PENELOPE

"It is time to give Penelope the story she deserves: emotion, adventure, mythology, and justice."

Penelope waited for her husband for twenty years. During that long time, she ruled Ithaca and raised the future monarch, Telemachus. However, upon his return, Odysseus

decided to expel her for betrayal, turning his wife's fate into a mystery. But can anyone really believe that the woman who deceived a thousand suitors among the most powerful men in Greece by weaving an endless shroud to delay time would simply give up?

This novel tells us about Penelope's journey after her exile. A story full of emotion and adventure, history and mythology, that immerses us in ancient Greece and takes us to the heart of a woman willing to risk everything to seek justice.

Oh, Muse! Tell us about her.
What happened to Penelope after Odysseus' return?

It was then that the great journey began,
the one that has never been told.
The one history has erased.

Oh, Muse, tell us her odyssey in these pages.

About the author:

A passionate reader and lover of classical mythology, she published in 2024 Penelope, her debut novel, a work inspired by the testimony of Pausanias, a Greek historian and geographer, who located the possible tomb of the queen of Ithaca in Mantinea, far from her kingdom. From that question, how did she get there?, the author builds a story that gives voice and presence back to one of the great female figures of the ancient world.

In 2026 she published Los anatomistas, expanding her literary career around history, research, and the narrative revision of the past.
