The diaries of Rosa Chacel are a landmark in 20th-century Spanish literature. This edition ―with a prologue and notes by the writer Elena Medel― seeks to reclaim these pages as a complete literary work, on par for example with her novelistic output, and also to reclaim a writer who, due to extraliterary circumstances, is often omitted from generational accounts and other overviews.
