With the advent of affective-sexual education, an opportunity arose for these to become part of everyday school life, but the content related to risks around sexually transmitted infections and unwanted pregnancies, along with their prevention, has dominated the way sexuality is addressed in our schools. These contents, besides pushing the LGTBIQ community to near erasure in this educational field, hide discriminatory messages that reproduce and legitimize the various violences suffered by people who do not conform to normative parameters of sexuality (binarism, ciscentrism, heterocentrism, monosexuality, LGTBIQphobia, etc.). Thus, while non-hegemonic ways of experiencing sexuality are becoming increasingly visible among younger generations, there are multiple difficulties in the school environment to address this diversity in a deep and comprehensive way. In this regard, the present book explores the relationship between affective-sexual education and the LGTBIQ community—more characterized by its disagreements than its agreements—tracing a path through different dimensions of sociocultural reality, from the focus on what the author calls the normative system of sexuality to the school framework and affective-sexual education. Next, the results of a study are presented, and it concludes with some proposals aimed at guiding teaching practice toward achieving diverse and equal affective-sexual education.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0925/8464/0856/files/educacion-afectivo-sexual-y-colectivo-lgtbiq-1427911.jpg?v=1761842798
liberate-valeria-vegas
Libérate la cultura LGTBQ que abrió camino en España
The back cover reads: "'Liberate' is a well-deserved tribute to the artists, films, songs, and performance venues that brought color and sparkle — sequins included — back to a country that had spent far too long living in black and white. A homage to the LGBTQ culture that, even in Spain's darkest years, managed to forge its own path by overcoming adversity, circumventing censorship, and winning over a society that was still far from tolerant. Through nearly a hundred dictionary-style entries, journalist Valeria Vegas compiles a wealth of essential references — and role models — for understanding the role that gay men, lesbians, bisexuals, trans women and men, drag artists, transformists, and allies have played in Spanish culture. A historical journey that begins in the 1960s with the release of the film 'Diferente' and the arrival of Coccinelle on Madrid's Gran Vía, moves through the turbulent years of Spain's democratic transition, and reaches the early 21st century — reminding us that just a decade ago there were still territories of freedom left to conquer. In the author's own words: 'Perhaps this book will serve to do justice to all those careers built one stage at a time. Is there anything better, a more hopeful promise, than the longed-for, claimed, and finally conquered normality? The chimera of normality, understood as a specific way of consumption, has become an obstacle to social and class struggles. The desire to assimilate to that "normal," to go unnoticed, has silenced dissidences and ways of life far from the capitalist productive and reproductive system in the debate. In contrast, we should be able to claim more than ever other ways of life that invite the whole society to transform itself from the margins, to "amariconarse," to revolutionize affections, care, and also pleasures. An alternative path, a collective horizon that does not discard realities discordant with a society whose epicenter is the nuclear and cishetero family. Christo Casas, journalist and anthropologist, presents in Maricas malas a text halfway between essay and personal narrative in which we will discover that queer struggles are a claim that concerns us all, a true social and class battle to build a collective future from dissidence.
